MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN
Even as education is believed to be "the key to success", it must adapt, adjust and arise to meet the challenges of the times. While a strong academic base is necessary for every student, one must be equipped in a holistic manner. Our educational institutions need to consider the holistic approach to learning and development. Parents and teachers need to guide and groom their children to be rounded personalities, positive thinking and practical even while holding on to ideals and values so that they would be able to cope as well as contribute to the fast moving and ever changing world. Educational approaches must be such that students are equipped with life skills, sort skills, social skills, mental and physical agility and the ability to adapt to change St Peter's School being perhaps the oldest school in Durgapur, has certainly had to adapt and adjust to the many changes that have taken place in the last sixty-six years of existence and has continued to live up to its name, Peter which means the ROCK. Being a school with a mission to educate, it has struggled and continues to stand firm and tall amidst the changing times and trends wherein, education is being commodified. I am certain that St Peter's School would continue to strive to keep alive it's mission, commitment and calling to the cause of education and stand strong as a beacon of light in the city of Durgapur and beyond
